Kanye West did an interview with BBC Radio confirming the rapper will take on Donald Trump for President in 2020.

If you remember this first came up in September of 2015, at the VMA Awards. Yeezy let the entire world know that he intended to run for President in 2020.

During the interview on BBC Radio with Annie Mac, Mr. Kanye spoke about running for office. He’s inspired by the thousands of his fans who commented on his social media accounts earlier in the week. His supporters are urging him to run against Donald Trump in four years.

He said the type of campaign he would run in 2020 wouldn’t be too far removed from the current POTUS, in terms of experience, or engaging with the establishment.

“When I talk about the idea of being president, I’m not saying I have any political views. I don’t have views on politics, I just have a view on humanity, on people, on the truth,” Kanye West told Annie Mac. “If there is anything that I can do with my time and my day, to somehow make a difference while I’m alive I’m going to try to do it.”
